Cobb County has its share of righteous barbecue joints, but to my palate, Sam Huff and his crew smoke the superior meats. Baby back ribs hover between tender and taut; thinly sliced brisket retains its juiciness; crisp chicken skin yields to plump, smoky meat; and pulled pork is consistently moist. Huff is scheduled to open a second location this month, at the intersection of Shallowford Road and Johnson Ferry Road in northeast Cobb.
