Kevin Rathbun Steak
The massive porterhouse labeled as the Dry-Aged Steak for Two at Kevin Rathbun’s modern chophouse may be the best steak in Atlanta. It is carved in a style made famous by Brooklyn’s Peter Luger Steakhouse: The server props the plate at an angle to collect the buttery juices from the magnificent hunks of rich meat, then spoons them back over the slices. A version of the steak billed for three people looks huge and would surely feed more. In case such plutocratic pleasures aren’t in your budget, there is always the option of a burger (White Oak Pastures beef, bacon compote, cheddar, housemade pickles) with a glass of beer at the bar. You’ll still get good service and prime views for people-watching.
