Following the success of the Atlanta Downtown Design Excellence
Award (ADDEA) over the last three years, Central Atlanta Progress will
once again honor Downtown businesses for their design innovations
during this past year. The ADDEA raises awareness about quality
additions, renovations, rehabs, and new construction projects in
Downtown Atlanta. This year’s Design Excellence Award will be given in
five categories:
- Community
- Hotel
- Office
- Residential
- Restaurant/Bar
CAP accepted nominations for the ADDEA from business/property
owners and design enthusiasts through August 14, 2009.
ADDEA judges
will evaluate these entries at site visits. Online voting will also be taken into consideration.
ADDEA’s co-sponsor, Atlanta magazine,
will feature the applicants in its November issue.
The awards ceremony
will take place at Downtown Development Day on the morning of Tuesday,
November 10, 2009 at AmericasMart.
