Wine Shoe

| The Wine Shoe is perfectly situated in the historic Castleberry Hill neighborhood, an eclectic mix of artists, business people, young entrepreneurs, and working-class folks.
Owners Nora and Shannon Wiley recently moved to Castleberry Hill and immediately fell in love with the neighborhood and its people. The Wine Shoe was born of a lifestyle concept mixing the best of the neighborhood with the best of Nora and Shannon’s world travels. The shop has the feel of a private wine cellar in France stocked with wines from all over the world. Most prices are surprisingly artist friendly with a few high quality labels for those with finer tastes. No matter the price, they are all hand picked gems. |
 | For the build, Nora and Shannon enlisted Tod Ban of Home Street Builders, Inc. He was able combine their vision with his experience to create the space. Floor-to-ceiling wine racks adorn the "Wine Wall." The front and rear of the shop have expansive windows. Accents abound in the shop, with the most striking being a large vault hung from the ceiling with a bronze and crystal chandelier glittering underneath. A 12-foot rustic wood table sits below the chandelier.
Because the Wine Shoe cares about the earth, the space is filled with reclaimed items and environmentally friendly finishes. |
