Our Place in the Universe: Unlucky 13th when it comes to stress
Even though we ranked crankiest city in the nation barely over a month ago, a recent study has declared Atlanta only the thirteenth most stressed-out metro area. Conducted by Portfolio.com and bizjournals, the report took into account unemployment (we have 10.3 percent), air quality, murders (14.5 per every 100,000 people) and robberies (492.9 per every 100,000 people), and traffic congestion (our residents have an average commute of 30.8 minutes), among five other metrics. Detroit came in first place, while Salt Lake City came in last. Anyone else ready to move to Mormon heaven?
