Story Time: Atlanta Botanical Garden

938

Instead of being cooped up in a stuffy library among the musty leaves of old books, why not rest in the shade beneath actual leaves, amid the flora and fresh air? Held in the Children’s Garden Amphitheater every Wednesday morning April through October Storybook Time features short books about plants, animals, and the seasons. You have to pay garden admission ($18.95), but kids under three get in for free. Tip: Get there early and let the little ones run around the sculptures and tunnels of the Children’s Garden so they’ll be tuckered out come story time. 345 Piedmont Avenue, atlantabotanicalgarden.org
