 About Big Green Egg
The Big Green Egg Company was launched in 1974 in a small Atlanta strip mall by Ed Fisher, who took an ancient Asian cooking concept, improved on it, gave it a catchy name, and started selling it himself out of one store. Fisher is still president of Big Green Egg, which today is the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of kamado-style cookers. The EGG® is now available in more than twenty countries.
