Congratulations to Jessica Chesler of Decatur, whose entry titled “Homeless, Unemployed Recent Graduate Seeks Safe, Reliable, Fuel-Efficient Automobile” was the winner in the atlantamagazine.com Trade in Your Commute contest sponsored by MINI. Contestants were asked to post photos and write persuasively about why they deserved to win a year’s lease on a new MINI. A recent graduate of Agnes Scott College, Jessica, who was driving a 1993 Blazer, wrote, “Not only do I feel unsafe in this car, I feel guilty because I am eating up gas money and harming the environment. I have my first real job interview this Monday, and I am renting a car so that I get there on time and without looking like my face is half-melted. If I had a nice new MINI, I could have a safe, reliable, and stylish way to arrive at interviews and start out my future career.” In late September, Jessica selected a Cooper Hardtop in Sparkling Silver. "I am loving my MINI. It's my new best friend," she told us.
