Hudson North, pop-up restaurant, opens in Atlantic Station

The team responsible for the beloved midtown neighborhood joint, Cypress Street Pint and Plate, have opened a pop-up restaurant in Atlantic Station. Taking over the space formerly occupied by The Grape, Hudson North is a tavern focusing on a locally-sourced menu and craft beers.

The interior of Hudson North was designed by local heavyweights ai3, aiming to evoke the shipyard haunts near the Hudson River that co-owner Billy Streck once frequented. Recently relocated from Washington D.C., executive chef B.H. Hibbs has put together a menu of bar snacks, raw seafood, and local meats alongside a page-long list of craft brewed beers.

You can check out the full menu on Hudson North’s Facebook page. The pop-up restaurant will run only through Decemeber 31. No word yet on what will happen to the space after that date. Indulge in a few rather attractive photos of the food below.

Scallop crudo, watercress, lemon, dill, fennel, blood orange

Figs with amber ale glaze, bacon, almonds, chile, parsley

Went to the opening and was surprises by the tasty appetizers offered. Everything was delicious! Also had a great time playing with the “free” Galaga (my favorite) & Pacman video game.

The decor is very comfortable and inviting and all of the staff were extremely friendly and eager to serve. Can’t wait to go back again and wish it wasn’t closing Dec 31st. It’s a great addition to Atlantic Station!

Being native New Yorkers ourselves, we’ve been to Hudson North a few times already. We love the atmosphere, tasty apps, and great beer selection! It’s nice to be able to have dinner conversation and people watch at the same time. All staff are super friendly, attentive, and help make menu selections based on your likes/dislikes.

We’ll be sad to see HN go on Dec. 31st, so get your fill now.

    Cheers!

Went to the restaurant 3 days ago, I was very pleased with everything, the foods, drinks, decor, service, I could go on. I am a New Yorker recently located to Atlanta, I wish Hudson North would be a permanent gathering place especially in Atlantic Station. Please stay!
