A couple weeks ago, Bon Appetit’s restaurant editor Andrew Knowlton emailed me and asked if I’d send him a couple lines about my opinions on “citizen criticism” (restaurant reviews on Yelp, blogs, etc.). It turns out, he compiled quite the list of quotes from traditional media critics around the country—some with rather frank views.
