Jason Paolini, the culinary director of Restaurant Eugene, will helm the kitchen at Atlanta Botanical Garden’s first full-service restaurant, Linton’s in the Garden. His appointment as executive chef follows Restaurant Eugene’s latest announcement that Chris Edwards will lead its kitchen.

Linton’s in the Garden, a project from Linton Hopkins and his wife Gina, plans to open in the spring. The restaurant will feature seasonal ingredients and “garden-to-table” cooking.

Perkins+Will spearheaded the design of the 24,000 square-foot space, which features large glass windows and an open-air rooftop that will offer expansive views of the garden. The restaurant plans to work in conjunction with the garden to offer special events throughout the spring and summer.

The space will also feature an exclusive collection of Dale Chihuly’s artwork, making it one of only two destinations to feature the artist. The complete exhibit, along with exclusive sculptures, will debut on April 30 as part of the Garden’s 40th anniversary celebration. The restaurant plans to serve lunch and dinner daily, and patrons must be garden members or guests.
