International Sake Day at RA Sushi on Oct. 1
RA Sushi Bar Restaurant is recognizing “Nihonshu no Hi” or International “Sake Day,” an informal holiday created to celebrate the popular Japanese spirit. Hot sake is $1 all day.

Taste of Atlanta at Tech Square in Midtown, Oct. 5 through Oct. 7
Atlanta’s premier food, beer, wine, and cocktail festival is kicking off it’s 11th year. There will be three live cooking stages, kitchen workshops, a family food zone, and featured food from more than 80 restaurants. A wine, beer, and cocktail experience featuring tasting tents and educational seminars will be available to VIP ticket holders.

Urban Coop Tour at the Wylde Center, Oct. 6 through Oct. 7, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The The Wylde Center and Georgia Organics are teaming up to present the 5th annual tour of 13 urban coops. The tour will highlight the benefits of backyard chickens as well as the potential pitfalls and solutions. Coop owners will be available to answer questions.

Cakes and Ale Grills Up a Fundraiser at Oakhurst Garden on Oct. 7, 5:00 p.m.
Chef Billy Allin from Cakes & Ale will fire up a wood-burning grill to cook a selection of small plates enjoyed with wines and live music. All proceeds benefit the Wylde Center.
