Two months after David Carson stepped down from Bacchanalia to manage the broader Star Provisions brand, the deli and bakery is now serving breakfast. Starting today, Anne Quatrano’s Westside operation will open at 8 a.m. instead of 10 a.m. Breakfast items include a bacon, fried egg, and cheddar sandwich; broccoli, goat cheese, and caper frittata; cauliflower and gruyere tart; smoked salmon bagel; sausage biscuit with strawberry jam; butter and chocolate croissants; and an herb omelette.

Breakfast will be available all day, until the counter closes at 6 p.m. Meat and cheese departments will stay open for another hour, and, as before, the bakery will remain online until midnight, around when the final tables at Bacchanalia are clearing out.
