The team behind Peachtree Diner and the Diner at North Point is opening a new Italian-American restaurant in historic Roswell on November 21. Called Tutto Kitchen & Bar, it will be led by Tony Itzie, an Italian American with experience at Horseradish Grill, Sage Woodfire Tavern, and Van Gogh’s (now Bistro VG).

“I was born in New Jersey to a close-knit Italian family living in an Italian neighborhood. Every holiday was all about the food,” he says, explaining that his influences stem from his mother and grandmother. “Now I finally have the opportunity to cook some of my favorite dishes.”

Itzie will serve mostly appetizers and small plates rather than “your typical heavy red sauce dishes.” Dishes include lasagna, veal meatballs, seared pork belly, braised short ribs, and lamb shanks, as well as trout with white bean ragout, salmon with blood orange fennel salad, and sambucca cured gravalox.

Tutto will serve lunch and dinner and will not accept reservations. Expect Italian-inspired craft cocktails, craft beers, and seventy wines.
