About the Builder

Chris Vann has been building homes in Big Canoe and the surrounding area for seven years and was the official builder of the 2008 Southern Living Home at Big Canoe.   With a legacy of homebuilding and craftsmanship skills acquired from his grandfather, Chris combines old world craftsmanship with his gift of vision to customize each home to the specific needs of each client. Vann Custom Homes is a member of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.

For Vann, the dream entailed capturing the best views possible, and he has. As he describes it, “A bold expanse of glass and decking across the back of the home opens on breathtaking views into the Blue Ridge Mountains some forty miles away.”
