Insidesign, a 10,000-square-foot residential showroom, is located at 1231 Ashford Crossing in Perimeter Place near Perimeter Mall in Atlanta. The showroom features a series of fully accessorized room vignettes offering builders, designers, architects, and homeowners the opportunity to select custom wood products (most of which are LEED-qualified) for new builds and remodels in a single, luxury shopping experience. Products are provided in categories that enable the creation of a total “green” design for the client.
Selections are available from a dozen manufacturers of cabinetry, trim, millwork, flooring, stair parts, doors, and columns with products categorized by architectural style. Clients work with design consultants creating a custom design for their individual projects. A proprietary software system allows them to track and share information regarding their project, an opportunity that gives the client more comfort in the decision-making process. Insidesign was started as a new concept in architectural wood products by Koetter Woodworking, a high-quality wholesale manufacturer and distributor of wood products since the 1950s.
