5 Seasons Brewing

834

Before the craft beer craze ignited, the original Prado location of 5 Seasons Brewing (which opened in 2001) reigned as leader of the local cult of hops. It remains the city’s most outstanding microbrewery and is particularly destination-worthy given the originality—rabbit enchiladas, anyone?—of chef-owner David Larkworthy’s menu. Prado’s trump card is brewmaster Kevin McNerney, who previously worked at SweetWater and brought new levels of finesse to 5 Seasons’ unique beers on tap.

Drink This: Hopgasm IPA1, McNerney’s 5 Seasons signature, a floral quencher with a smooth finish.
