How does the bracket work?
Beginning March 1, sixty-four of Atlanta’s best restaurants will go head-to-head in tournament-style matchups. Votes from site visitors will determine which restaurant advances to the next round. (Whichever has the most votes advances.) Voting for each of the six rounds lasts one week, and each round will cut the field by half, until voters have determined a winner.
How do I vote?
Voters must be registered Atlanta Magazine Insiders age 21 or older who reside in Georgia. (Click here to register as an Insider; it takes two minutes, and it's free.) Only one entry per round is allowed, and every round you vote in constitutes an entry to win one of five prizes. (Meaning: If you vote in rounds One and Four, your name appears in the hat twice.)
Contest entrants must be 21 or older.
What are the prizes?
At the conclusion of the contest, one (1) randomly selected Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) large Big Green Egg smoker (approximately $800 in value) and one (1) bottle of Richland Rum. Four (4) randomly selected entrants will receive a $100 gift card to the Final Fork restaurant of their choice.
The winning restaurant will receive bragging rights and quite possibly a fun trophy.
What are the voting periods?
Round One: March 1, 2013 (11 a.m.), to March 7, 2013 (11 p.m.)
Round Two: March 8, 2013 (11 a.m.), to March 14, 2013 (11 p.m.)
Round Three: March 15, 2013 (11 a.m.), to March 21, 2013 (11 p.m.)
Round Four: March 22, 2013 (11 a.m.), to March 28, 2013 (11 p.m.)
Round Five: March 29, 2013 (11 a.m.), to April 4, 2013 (11 p.m.)
Round Six: April 5, 2013 (11 a..m), to April 11 (11 p.m.)
