Mike Kaiser

Kaiser received the Best of Atlanta distinction as a twenty-eight-year-old Emory doctoral student who makes his audiences uncomfortable in order to make them laugh. He’s a quiet guy, seemingly harmless, until he opens his soft-spoken mouth. Then he says what plenty of people think—about race, sex, religion, politics—but would never speak. His is the comedy of observation. He’s not really telling jokes, or being audacious for the sake of it. He’s just sort of throwing it out there and letting most people decide if they’re willing to laugh at it.
