Sushi Huku

Jerome “Jey” Oh took over this unassuming restaurant off Powers Ferry Road in 2007, and over the last several years he’s earned a loyal following among sushi enthusiasts. He and his staff serve typical Japanese dishes such as hamachi kama (grilled yellowtail collar filled with sweet meat) and also concoct psychedelic rolls like the Lambada, filled with spicy tuna and salmon and then draped with avocado and dotted with eel sauce. For the most memorable experience, call ahead and request an omakase, a word that roughly translates as “leave it to me” and includes ever-changing courses of stunning sushi, sashimi, and off-the-menu hot dishes.
