Your instructor sets a target resistance level and speed, and off you go for forty-five or sixty minutes as upbeat music blares. A large screen ranks the Type-A riders who opt in. Your workout data is saved so that you can track distance, calories burned, and other info online. Perks: free towels, bike shoes, lockers, fruit, private changing rooms, and a swank lobby.
