The Atlanta Dream

I’m not going to compare the WNBA to the NBA—it’s just not the same game. I’m not going to try to shame you into supporting female role models (although you know you should!). I’ll just point out that for around $20 a ticket, you can take your family to Philips, get closer to world-class athletes than you ever imagined possible, and watch a physical, up-tempo sport of ceaseless action. You can see Angel McCoughtry, one of the best players on earth, a prolific scorer and a colorful character, chatting up players and refs. And you can share in the success of a team that has won its conference three of the last four years. Where else can you find that in Atlanta? —Tony Rehagen
