Owner Sarah O'Brien sold her treats at local farmers markets before partnering with Octane Coffee for a loft space in the back of the Jane building, across from Oakland Cemetery. Her crusts are a heady combination of flaky and buttery, whether they're filled with sweets (a prim chocolate–sea salt tart, a more free-form apple galette) or savories (she restores oft-abused quiche to creamy glory). Pick up a gougère, labeled a "giant cheese puff," while you're there.
