We love our fast food

CDC survey tells us about our burger and fries habit

How much time do you spend in that drive-thru? On an average day, we get a little more than 11 percent of our calories from fast food, according to a new study from the CDC.

Young adults, 20 to 39, eat more fast food than anyone elseā€”but the older we get, the less likely we are to fill up on burgers and fries. Income doesn't seem to affect our fast food habits, but race and weight can make a difference.

The good news is that the last time CDC poked into our drive-thru business, we got 13 percent of our calories from fast food.

Get the whole scoop from the CDC's fast food survey. Now, go make yourself a salad.
