Free BMI screenings in Atlanta
See if you really need that New Year's resolution
Regretting all that eggnog and all those holiday cookies? Before you join the gym or invest in a salad spinner, the city of Atlanta is offering free BMI testing to see what kind of shape you're really in.
BMI, or body mass index, uses a ratio of weight to height to categorize people as underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese. To find out where you fall, check out one of the free screenings this week:
Thursday, January 9, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Center of Hope at Rosel Fann, 365 Cleveland Avenue, 30354
Friday, January 10, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Coan Park Recreation Center, 1530 Woodbine Avenue, 30317
