The name “SoulCycle” is often spoken in hushed tones, with a reverence more often reserved for the capsule collections at Target. So it makes sense that the New York-based indoor-cycling studio with a cult-like following—but no location in Atlanta—would pair up with the fast-fashion-plus-groceries and-bathmats mecca for pop-up classes in 10 cities.

Now add the word “free,” and a fitness freak might have a conniption.

SoulCycle x Target will offer six free daily classes on January 29, 30, and 31 at 200 Peachtree Street. Sign-ups will open at 3 p.m. on January 22 (at soul-cycle.com/target/atlanta). Spots are likely to disappear as quickly as a pearl-trimmed dress from Jason Wu for Target.

On yellow bikes that go nowhere, in classes that typically cost about $34 a pop, SoulCycle gushes that it’s changing lives. “With every pedal stroke, our minds clear and we connect with our true and best selves,” the company says on its website. “We laugh, we cry, we grow.”

Need a fix right now? You can buy SoulCycle unisex sweatpants for $49, or maybe a tank for $29, at target.com.
