Somewhere between the garage sale finds of Craigslist and the lofty antiques on 1stdibs, there’s a lot of other well-designed furniture that needs a new home. Last year, online marketplace Chairish sprung up to fill that void, adding more than 1,000 items every week. Shop by style, price, color, or brand (from Kartell to Pottery Barn). Chairish added an Atlanta shop in September, curated by an impressive group of local tastemakers such as designer Brian Patrick Flynn, Mandy Kellogg Rye (the blogger behind Waiting on Martha), painter Michelle Armas, and artist Amy Flurry of Paper-Cut-Project. The bonus of shopping local: Pick up your own merch and skip the shipping charges.
