House: A 14,908-square-foot manse, dubbed “Descante,” that came with antique fireplaces from Cambridge, a statue of an Etruscan boy from 500 to 800 A.D., and a reportedly 70-million-year-old fossilized dinosaur footprint set in the kitchen tile.

House: Two stunningly manicured acres bought by the grandson of a Texas oil tycoon and his wife, a former Miss Georgia.

Price: $7.3 million

House: A penthouse condo at the Mandarin Oriental (formerly the Mansion on Peachtree), sold as what the listing described as an unfinished “shell.”
