After a year of commuting from her home in Cabbagetown to her studio in Buckhead, artist Britt Bass Turner recently moved both outside the Perimeter. “I felt my creativity dying as I was sitting in traffic,” she says. Her new digs, Britt Bass Turner Studio + Shop, are located on a quiet side street in Roswell, with exposed ceilings, black pendant lights, and white walls lined with Turner’s fanciful and colorful abstract paintings. Browse gifts like phone cases, coasters, pillows, and handpainted glass ornaments, while the artist works beside the large storefront windows. “I enjoy the slower pace,” Turner says of her new environment. “I can walk to work and clear my mind, so when I sit down, I’m really ready to paint.” 37 Oak Street, Roswell
