We are now accepting resumes for publishing internships. Internships are open to college juniors and seniors and graduate students. Interns have the opportunity to learn the many different facets of magazine publishing, including production, sales, marketing, public relations, event and database development, accounting, and business planning. They assist in creating and executing communications and marketing strategies, researching and coordinating mailings, arranging PR activities, updating website listings, and coordinating special events. Each applicant will be evaluated on the basis of his or her resume, recommendations, and writing samples. In addition to a cover letter indicating your interest in Atlanta magazine and describing your prospective career goals, send a resume, references, and writing samples. All application materials become the property of Atlanta magazine. "Snail mail" and faxes are preferred. Please send the above materials and address all inquiries to: Randy Stone (publishing department) 260 Peachtree Street Suite 300 Atlanta, GA 30303 Fax: 404-527-5575 Randy@atlantamag.emmis.com
