Atlanta 2040: What life will look like in the city’s third century

Delivery food will improve

The delivery market has evolved. Now, you have all these players out there—UberEATS, Grubhub, Postmates, etc. Restaurant food was never designed to be delivered. We’ve seen from the meal-kit movement that people want to eat at home; they just want to skip planning and shopping. The next generation is seeking out higher-quality, locally sourced ingredients—and they want to be at least partially involved in the cooking.
