Kelly (right) and Tara start each morning with a hearty breakfast of bamboo, hay, and grain before spending the day wandering their habitat, which mimics a grassland savanna—equipped with a private wading pool. Standing eight feet tall and weighing more than four tons each, the two female African elephants have been constant companions for nearly 30 years. Soon the pair will see their stomping grounds triple in size following the completion of a five-acre zoo expansion. Drone elevation: 33 feet
