Atlanta magazine - Peachtree Panorama

About this blog

How do you unify obsessions with history, preservation, civil rights, transit systems, cemeteries, city planning, and politics into a blog? I've been an observer of Atlanta for quite a while now, but when it came to blogging, I found it impossible to corrall my interests. Then we moved into an old factory building with a pretty fascinating view of downtown Atlanta, and it all came together. The focus of this blog is, literally, the view you see across the top of the page. With some viewpoint thrown in.

A note about images
The blog uses lots of images. If you don't see an image credit, it's a photograph was taken by me (or cropped from the panorama at the top of this page, which was shot by my husband). Many of the historic images come from my personal collection of out-of-copyright vintage postcards. Any other image has been used with permission and includes a credit. When applicable, I've provided a way for you contact the source.
