Pet's breed: cocker spaniel
Pet's age: 14
Your pet gets in trouble when he/she: Sophia was always an angel.
Your pet gets praise when he/she: Looks at me with those big brown eyes.
Describe your pet's perfect day. Sleep until 9, have breakfast about 10 and just hang out all day with her 4 siblings.
What makes your pet special? We rescued Sophia from Newton County Animal Control 3 years ago thinking we would only have her a very short time because she was in such bad shape. We had 3 wonderful years with her until she developed cancer and we had to have a toe removed back in the summer. The cancer came back just before Christmas and we lost her on Dec. 22nd. I have had many dogs, most of them rescues and she was one of the sweetest most gentlest dogs I have ever known. We all miss her very much.
