Pet's breed: Daschund Terrier Mix
Pet's age: 3 1/2 yrs
Your pet gets in trouble when he/she: Sandy gets in trouble when she ransacks my purse for treats.
Your pet gets praise when he/she: Sandy gets praise when she is polite meeting new dogs, follows commands, and sometimes just for being so cute. =)
Describe your pet's perfect day. Sandy's perfect day would be if she was let loose in our local park; she would chase squirrels and birds all day!
What makes your pet special? Sandy is amazing! She has changed dramatically since I first got her. I adopted her from a rescue at age 3 in December 2010. She was abandoned with her 6 pups at a shelter. She had severe separation and anxiety issues. She would do #1 & #2 anytime my boyfriend got near her. On two separate instances, she had pierced my other dog’s ear and bit my dad’s hand. I have had her for 8 month’s now and she play’s nice with my dad and my other dog Frank (they are actually great hunting partners). She no longer uses my house as her bathroom; she also follows training commands/tricks and is quite affectionate with my boyfriend. For all this, I can say she is beyond great, she is actually amazing!
