Go on. You know I'm adorable.
Pet's breed: Bunny
Pet's age: 3
Your pet gets in trouble when he/she: She doesn't. She's in charge. We humans get in trouble with her!
Your pet gets praise when he/she: Does "binkies," bunny expressions of joy that involve racing, jumping and doing little flips.
Describe your pet's perfect day. Every day when her people make a fuss over her, rub her ears and cheeks and bring her dried papaya, aka "bunny crack."
What makes your pet special? Katie Scarlett had been abandoned by her former owners who moved away and left her behind. She'd been outside on her own for almost a year and survived the elements including a very cold winter, quite a feat for a domestic bunny. When she finally succumbed to the treats we put in a pet carrier to lure her in and let us bring her home, we named her after the ultimate survivor — Katie Scarlett O'Hara. She has moxie! We spoil her rotten and love her to pieces, even when she "corrects" our wrongdoings with a grunt and a lunge. We are grateful to the North Georgia House Rabbit Society for being so generous with advice on bunny care. They are a great resource!
