Go on. You know I'm adorable.
Pet's breed: RETRIEVER MIX
Pet's age: 1 1/2 YEARS OLD
Your pet gets in trouble when he/she: CHEWS UP SHOES, EMPTIES THE ENTIRE RECYCLE BIN ONTO THE FLOOR, CHEWS UP HEADPHONES
Your pet gets praise when he/she: BARKS ON COMMAND, SITS AND STAYS, LAYS ON HER BACK FOR BELLY RUBS
Describe your pet's perfect day. TAKE HER OUTSIDE TO HER TROLLEY IN THE BACKYARD WHERE SHE EXPLORES THE YARD AND VARIOUS "STRANGE CAT" SMELLS THEN BRING HER IN FOR A TREAT. THEN TAKE HER TO THE PARK AND WALK AROUND A WHILE (LETTING HER STOP AND SNIFF ALL THE INTERESTING NEW SMELLS). HEAD HOME AND LET HER NAP ON HER FAVORITE FUTON COUCH WHILE WE PLAY VIDEO GAMES!
What makes your pet special? WE RESCUED HER FROM CERTAIN DEATH AT A HIGH KILL ANIMAL SHELTER THE DAY SHE WAS SCHEDULED TO BE EUTHANIZED. TWO DAYS LATER SHE WOULD NOT EAT, DRINK, OR COME OUT OF HER CRATE. I CALLED A VET TECH FRIEND AND THEY TOLD ME TO FORCE FLUIDS IN HER WITH A TURKEY BASTER AND SEE IF SHE PERKED UP. LATER THAT NIGHT SHE GOT WORSE SO WE RUSHED HER TO THE ER VET WHERE THEY DIAGNOSED HER WITH PARVO. THE TREATMENT OPTIONS WERE VERY EXPENSIVE BUT I COULDN'T LET HER SUFFER. SHE MADE A COMPLETE RECOVERY THANKFULLY.
