Opened in December, Beauty Maven in Little Five Points is already a destination for hard-to-find cosmetic brands such as Klorane, Demeter, Sabon NYC, and cutting-edge Korean labels like Skinmiso and Klairs.

The beauty maven herself, owner Yee-Lynn Chen, is an Augusta native. After seven years in New York working in public relations for luxury skincare brands—a gig that opened her eyes to the intimate, high-end beauty experience—she returned to her home state last year to open her first shop. Chen chose Little Five for its central location and foot traffic, but don’t worry—it’s in the Junkman’s Daughter strip for easy parking. 484 Moreland Avenue
