In pre-pandemic times, the Buckhead restaurant’s brunch was iconic, known for laying out a fabulous spread of dishes in the kitchen itself, allowing guests to wind through and see where the magic happens (and take in the charming knickknacks the adorn the space). When the pandemic began, the buffet brunch ended, and Local Three switched to an à la carte menu. It just wasn’t the same.

Opening February 27 in Buckhead Village, cattycornered from Fetch dog park, Yeppa & Co. is an amalgamation of the passions and experiences of the Storico team, minus Michael Patrick, who is focusing on his cookbook. The result is part-restaurant, part-coffee shop, and part-Formula One cocktail bar.

Slated to open in late February near Zakia, Snap will serve more than 10 varieties of seafood flown in daily. Expect cold-water lobster, both East and West Coast oysters, snapper, Thai crab cakes, prawns, scallops, and more

Most high-rise homeowners covet top floors for city views, but this couple chose the ground level in order to create a lush courtyard surrounded by Buckhead’s skyline. Interior designer Bill Musso and his husband, Bryan Cooke, saw a concrete slab sometimes littered with debris and imagined possibilities. With the help of garden designer Alex Smith, they now enjoy an extra 3,200 square feet of outdoor living space, including nine trees.

As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Olamide Alabi might get paged at 2 a.m. and then come home hours later exhausted, so her Buckhead condo needed to be a sanctuary that works as hard as she does: Guest quarters are separated from her bedroom so visitors are not disturbed, the efficient kitchen is ready for entertaining when she’s not on call—and, most importantly, the open floorplan and incredible views of the city keep her going strong.

The 4,400-square-foot space in Buckhead Village will be nearly double the size of the original and will include a 17-seat omakase room. It will feature a more modern design with low lighting, Japanese woodwork, and Binchotan charcoal grills.

GIVENCHY is the latest top luxury brand racing to open an Atlanta boutique, and they brought the home team with them. The store, which opened recently at Phipps Plaza, features a new collaboration with BSTROY, a brand cofounded by Atlanta natives Brick Owens and Dieter “Du” Grams.

With 50 locations around the world, master chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s eponymous Japanese restaurant has been attracting celebrities and foodies alike since the first one opened in Tribeca in 1994. On November 22, the modern hotspot backed by Robert de Niro launched in Buckhead on the lobby level of the 10,000-square-foot Nobu Hotel Atlanta.

Chris Hall, Ryan Turner, and Todd Mussman are back in the spotlight, adding to their restaurant empire with the opening of Roshambo, a modern diner in Peachtree Battle.
