46. The Highlander

With decor that veers into biker/metalhead tackiness, the Highlander presents a foreboding face. But the vibe is friendly and laid-back, making this a go-to destination for both late hours (it’s open till 3 a.m. most nights) and easygoing day drinking. Founded in 1992, this is a place that served PBR tall boys before it was cool.
