On Monday morning, Atlanta Botanical Garden reps slid us an advance peek at their 2011 Wells Fargo Advisors Concerts in the Garden series line up.
The 2011 season kicks off Friday, June 3 with blues boy Jonny Lang with special guest Moreland & Arbuckle (Lang had to postpone his 2010 appearance when his wife was giving birth). Indigo Girls will appear on Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9 with special guests The Shadowboxers. Steve Earle and the Duke and Duchesses featuring Allison Moorer will appear Friday, July 15, Emmylou Harris will perform on Friday, July 22 and Los Lobos will close out the series on Friday, August 26.
Tickets for the ninth annual concert series on the Great Lawn go on sale Friday, May 6. Garden members, meanwhile, may purchase advance tickets beginning Friday, April 22. For details, go to the garden’s official website.
