For most of us, MySpace is the new, well, Friendster. Still, the tumbleweed-strewn social media site remains an ideal tool to expose fans to new music.

Case in point: Atlanta’s own Big Boi is streaming his entire new solo album, “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty” a full week ahead of its official July 6 release date.

Click here to sample the album for free.

Atlantans will also be able to hear selections from the album live July 17 at Mason Murer Art Gallery in Midtown when the hip-hop giant and one-half of the Grammy-winning Outkast performs during his fifth annual “Art of Life Canvas For Kidz” benefit for his Big Kidz Foundation.

Among the celebs donating art for the evening’s live auction?

Home guru Martha Stewart,  rapper T.I., actor Idris Elba, funk master George Clinton, and NBA legend Julius Erving.

For tickets, go to the official Big Kidz Foundation website.
