Atlanta Oncology Associates congratulates Dr. Mark McCord for his recognition as one of Atlanta’s Top Doctors in the field of radiation oncology. He embodies the philosophy of our medical group: patients come first. The group was started in 1973 by Dr. Dale McCord and now extends across Georgia.
Dr. McCord is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his radiation oncology residency at University of Florida Health Shands Hospital.
A board-certified radiation oncologist, Dr. McCord practices in our Alpharetta office and our recently opened South Fulton office, where we have put in a brand new linac. We are very excited to be able to offer advanced technology with optimized efficiency and faster treatment times to patients. The new linac provides our patients with top-notch cancer care accessible in a patient-friendly environment close to home.
