Margret Cho to end “Cho Dependent” tour at Tabernacle Dec. 12

It’s only fitting that comic Margaret Cho end her current “Cho Dependent” tour here with a show booked at the Tabernacle downtown for Dec. 12.
After all, earlier this year, the “Drop Dead Diva” actress tried out material for the show here at the Laughing Skull Lounge in Midtown.
In an interview with Intel earlier this year, Cho told us she routinely spent her weekends here in the city between shooting scenes in Peachtree City for the hit Lifetime series (“Drop Dead Diva” returns for season three in 2011).
Cho would often pop up on stage late night at the Midtown comedy club to try out new material for her topical “Cho Dependent” tour. She told us one point of interest for her was the post-Obama election state of the union.
Cho’s current tour also features musical numbers from her album of the same name that was released last summer. Unfortunately, we can’t use any of the proper titles of the songs from the racy album on this website without potential damage to the #F—@!&*! keys on our computer. . .
According to the Live Nation website, tickets for the show range between $40.50 and $57.60 and are still available.
