Services set for WSB Boortz producer Royal Marshall

Family, friends and WSB radio listeners will have a chance to bid a final farewell to Neal Boortz Radio Show producer Raymond Royal Marshall beginning Friday. Marshall died unexpectedly Saturday morning at age 43.
 
A visitation will be held Friday at Murray Brothers Funeral Home in Atlanta from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Ray of Hope Christian Church in Decatur where he served as a deacon. Both will be open to the public.
 
On Monday night, WSB Radio and WSB-TV Action News reported the results of an autopsy performed by the Fulton County Medical Examiner. The findings show Marshall died of a heart attack brought on by hypertension.
 
Hundreds of tributes from fans have poured in from listeners posting remembrances on Marshall’s WSB tribute page and on-air Monday.
 
WSB Radio morning man Scott Slade co-anchored the emotional tribute coverage Monday along with traffic reporter Mark Arum and Washington D.C. corespondent Jamie Dupree. The trio filled in for Boortz and executive producer Belinda Skelton who both remained off-air Monday.
