Therapeutic Radiation Oncology has proudly served Atlanta and surrounding cities for more than 30 years. The team of eight highly qualified radiation oncologists comprise the largest radiation oncology practice in the Piedmont system, serving seven Piedmont centers in the greater metro area. We pride ourselves on being members of our local communities, with several of our doctors being involved since the inception of cancer services at the Piedmont hospitals that we staff.
John Giesler, MD, is a senior partner of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology. He completed his radiation oncology training at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is known for his wealth of expertise in the ever-changing complexities of cancer care.
Diana Santiago, MD, serves as medical director at Piedmont Newnan Hospital Radiation Oncology. She serves as a member of the board of directors for Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She completed her medical degree and residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Geetha Rao, MD, serves as medical director at Piedmont Fayette Radiation Oncology. She is a member of the board of directors for the hospital. She graduated from Duke University Medical School and completed residency at the University of Michigan Hospital.
Kim Neisler, MD, serves as medical director at Piedmont Henry Hospital Radiation Oncology. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Sasha Wahab, MD, serves as the managing partner for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology. He completed his medical degree and residency training at Washington University and his undergraduate degree in philosophy at the University of Virginia.
Charles Woods, MD, is from Valdosta, Georgia, and graduated with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He earned a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at Case Western Reserve University.
