Atlanta Magazine’s September 2022 Issue

A note from Sean McGinnis, President & Publisher:

Before long, Atlanta will experience that crisp, fall weather we start to desire around this time of year! Our September issue will help kick start your plans for the upcoming season with some fun, and surprising, outdoor activities. From exploring new parts of the Beltline to spending the night in a tree house, our comprehensive outdoor guide has diverse options for everyone to get some fresh air in Atlanta and beyond.

This issue also gives an eye-opening account of a woman who was selected as a juror for a murder trial. She writes on her experience in this legal process and how it would later leave her feeling confused, yet appreciative, towards the cost of justice. This reflective piece allows one to consider the mysteries of legal strategies to average citizens – the same citizens who make the verdicts.

Who doesn’t love a delicious apple? Well, a team of UGA researchers are showing apples some extra love on an orchard in Blairsville. By creating a “Noah’s Ark” for forgotten southern apples, this team is cultivating apples including Fort’s Prize and Rabun Bald, which have not been distributed in years. This exciting feature tells the story of apples and how they are a manifestation of history, much like art and architecture.

Last, but certainly not least, is our Real Estate All-Stars list which will give you the scoop on the top performing real estate agents, teams, and mortgage professionals in the Atlanta market. With so many eyes on this ever-growing market, this guide will be an asset for all your real estate needs.
