This Atlanta location of pitmaster Bryan Furman’s barbecue joint—the original is in Savannah—couldn’t have been more warmly embraced by Riverside, a neighborhood in need of choice dining options. Barbecue enthusiasts from all over town have joined the chorus of admirers: from hoecakes and pork ribs to a deeply country hash and rice, everything is homemade. This summer, Furman collaborated with Southern Soufflé blogger Erika Council to serve breakfast, and their pop-ups were successful enough to warrant a second wave. Look for more brisket hash and biscuits through the winter. bscracklinbbq.com
