After almost 16 years occupying a basement on Trinity Avenue, Eyedrum moved into a new space composed of six old storefronts this past August. The nonprofit has long championed experimental musicians and artists, including percussionist Ian David Rosenbaum. But its reach expands with its new 9,500-square-foot space that can accommodate other arts organizations and businesses. Eyedrum has already rented room to photography gallery Opal and is considering a coffee shop and rooftop film screenings, among other initiatives, for 2015. 88 Forsyth Street, eyedrum.org
