If you are a food fanatic, you are going to be really happy this weekend. If you are a Walking Dead addict, you are also going to be really happy this weekend. But fear not, casual lovers of either indulgence—you can enjoy this weekend’s fests no matter your level of devotion.

Pop-up shops come and go in the blink of an eye (as they are wont to do), but some have more staying power than others—like this weekend’s 39 x 43, which is pretty much the queen of all pop-ups, featuring at least a dozen of our favorite local designers and artisans in one place—all Southern, most from right here in Atlanta.

March is finally roaring in this weekend, and with it comes not only the promise of spring but celebrity chefs, art exhibits, and offbeat tributes.

Start spreading the news! Although Atlantans almost never get to experience the joys of building snowmen in meadows and all visions of making snow angels are dashed by the realities of Decembers marked by alternating frigid rain and balmy days in the 70s, a new ranking of "Top Ten Winter Wonderlands," trumpets Atlanta as number one.

On September 20 from 9 a.m. to noon, neighborhoods in Southwest Atlanta will host iSWAT Development Day, a collection of speeches and bus tours through the area that highlight redevelopment initiatives in an effort to attract chefs, restaurateurs, and grocers. Participants will meet at 884 Murphy Avenue.
